September 2026
Dear Patients, Colleagues, and Friends,
After 41 years of practicing general dentistry, and 32 years in our practice in Niagara Falls, I
have made the decision to retire from the profession. It is a decision that comes with difficulty
and thoughtful consideration, but has become necessary due to increasing physical limitations.
It has been a true privilege to serve this community along with my dedicated practice partner
and friend, Dr.Ronald Schwartz, as well as with our wonderful staff. Your professionalism,
loyalty, and kindness are unmatched, and you all helped mold us into the caring and dedicated
practice that it is. I am forever grateful and blessed to have worked with you. I can't possibly
thank you all enough, and will miss seeing your smiling faces daily.
Thank you to all the specialists who have also cared for our patients when we have referred,
and for the care you have rendered. It has been an honor working with you and having you as
colleagues.
Thank you to all our patients, with a special thanks to the many who have been loyal to the
practice since I came on in 1994. The opportunity to establish relationships and the ability to
watch you and your families grow over the years has been most rewarding. I am humbled that
you entrusted me in your care and allowed me to be a small part of your lives. Please know that
you have had a profound and lasting effect on me. I hope I have made a difference in giving you
the care you deserved to the best of my ability. I can walk away comforted knowing I always had
your well being at the center of my daily practice. I will miss seeing you, and wish you all the
best of health and happiness going forward. To that end, Dr. Schwartz will be staying on in the
practice. and he has welcomed a new associate, Dr. Raha Kaveh. Together they will continue
to provide you with the outstanding, conscientious care you deserve and have come to expect
from our practice. I can honestly say without reservation you are in great hands.
As I enter the next chapter in my life, I do so with immense gratitude for all the people I have
crossed paths with in my professional journey. I am beyond blessed in having a wonderful
loving and supportive wife and daughter, and the rest of my family, and look forward to
spending as much time with them as I can, both at home and in some traveling. I've learned
through the years that life is short, and the key to being happy is being grateful. I am most
certainly grateful having met and grown with all of you. You have all contributed in making me a
better man and dentist. God bless you all.
With my deepest thanks and best wishes,
Robert L. Gedeon Jr., DDS
